Aaron Huang
Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer
Aaron Huang, 37, has recently been named as WeWork’s chief diversity and inclusion officer. Huang is responsible for promoting and overseeing diversity and inclusion throughout the company. Huang is expected to help WeWork improve and maintain its diverse and inclusive collaborative workspaces through staff trainings, meetings and open conversations.
Prior to joining WeWork, Huang held similar human resources positions at Regus, WeWork’s main competitor in office rentals; Impact Hub, a series of community-based office settings locally owned by entrepreneurs; and Convene, a company offering more high-gloss office settings.
Huang has a bachelor’s degree in management from Yale University and an MBA in human resource management from Duke University with a specialization in workplace diversity. Huang currently serves as a member of the Yale University President’s Diversity and Inclusion Commission. He also is a member of the board of directors of the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund.
